my canto- canto 13

In this canto, it is about the second ring of the seventh circle of hell! And it starts off with Virgil and Dante walking through the dark woods with and Dante hears cries from the woods but he is not sure where there coming from and he snaps a branch off the tree and blood comes from it so they were all turned to trees! Virgil tells Dante that the people who are being punished here are the ones who hurt themselves black trees and others such as suicidals and murderers! After this Virgil tells Dante to ask the tree what his story was and the tree told him his name and it was Pier Della Vigna an advisor to Emperor Fredrick but some courtiers blackened his name he took his own life. The trees got to their state of being a tree by just starting as saplings then they are pecked by Harpies which are half woman and bird and when there branch is broken off these trees/ people feel that main of losing a body part and when it is time for them to get their souls and body back they will not gain a full body! And when Dante was talking to the tree two men are running through the woods one of the mens names was Jacoma da Sant’Andrea and a dog has been chasing the two men and the dog catches up to them and shreds them to pieces. Then Dante and Virgil talk to the bush which is a soul and the bush talks about how bad Florence was and how much sadness was going on there ever since John the Baptist was its patron. This bush was a Florentine who hung himself so that’s why he was there!

 Shia LaBeouf : The Squire

Shia LaBeaouf I thought was the perfect person for the character of squire. In the prologue it describes the squire as a fine young man. A lad of fire  with lock as curly as if they had been pressed. And Shia being a young man and with curly hair but still looking sophiscated I thought he would be the perfect man for the job! The squire also had a very soft side and I think Shia brings that to the table as in how he looks!

Johnny Depp: Merchant

I Chose Johnny Depp for the merchant because when I was reading the prologue the first thing I saw that described the merchant was a forking beard and I don’t know anyone that can do a forking beard better then Johnny and also buckling boots, I see Johnny wearing those just like he did in the Pirates of the Caribbean!

Seann William Scott: Yeoman

I chose Sean Scott because of his great personality in movies and for some reason I think he would go well with peacock feathered arrows, and a big coat like the yeoman wears and rides with. When I thought of the yeoman I thought of Seann Scott ! I think he is the perfect choice for this character !

Shes jacked and we know that for sure
her cheerleader outfit will give you allure.
shes got a tatoo on her left foot
and the artist was as big as shamoo.
shes so very sweet and so very nice
but not even black just white as rice.
she'll give you a good laugh she'll give you a good time
shes good with everything just like lemon lime.

College Essay 

            Have you ever felt like you weren’t good enough or that certain someone was better then you? Well I myself felt like I would never accomplish my dreams because no one ever really gave me a chance to be what I could be!

            One day I was riding my bike in my neighborhood when I was in the fifth grade and I was thinking about how the coach never played me in basketball and I remembered looking into my dads eyes in the stands while sitting on the bench seeing the sadness cause he knew that I had potential and I knew it too! So that day I decided that I would take every chance I could get to become successful and to seize every opportunity!

            The next year was my sixth grade year and I had been practicing for the middle school team all summer long. This was my shot, and the first opening game I had twenty-six points! This was the turning point of my life, and from then on out I was a big scorer and I was respected as a basketball player. I think this will help me in college and in life in many areas in my life! The first reason why it will is because when things get hard and everything goes south and it feels like I won’t make it I know I can pull through and get the job done! And me being the basketball player that my dad knew I could be and the player I could be showed that I can work hard and really accomplish everything I want to accomplish!

            So when I make it to the University of Florida I will not only just work hard but I will succeed farther than people in my class, because I look at it as a challenge and I really love challenges! And when life is full of challenges I know that I will do well and be successful.
